ARC OF FIRE

Arc of Fire have over 30 years specialist expertise in the planning and co-ordination of spectacular arena based battle re-enactment displays with special effects. Whilst these are predominantly World War 2 based, they can be for any period of history.

All Arc of Fire personnel have undergone professional training on a BECTU (Broadcasting, Entertainment, Cinematograph and Theatre Union) and Institute of Explosives Engineers accredited course. This is the only one recognised within the entertainment industry. We are therefore accredited to work at ‘supervisory’ level under the Joint Industry Grading Scheme for pyrotechnicians.

What can Arc of Fire offer?

We offer a complete package from initial discussions right through to planning and execution. We can provide safety advice as well as risk assessments for all activities that we are engaged with. All materials we use are non-hazardous and we do not use any irritants such as cement, gypsum or plaster in the effects we create.

We have considerable experience of working:

 In confined arena spaces;
 Close to and around historic properties;
 In conjunction with other arena participants;
 Alongside military vehicles, including simulated firing and hits; and
 with flammable materials to create spectacular effects, including at night.

All the pyrotechnic articles we use are professionally manufactured to known specifications and are CE marked in accordance with UK legislation. We do not use any ‘home made’ articles or any improvised devices.

What does it cost?

Each event is unique and we can provide a quote based on your requirements and budget. The price quoted is all inclusive and includes all relevant paperwork, risk assessments and hazard data where applicable – there are no hidden extras.

We do have certain requirements at events regarding storage provisions, location in the event site and set up times for the arena, however we can discuss these on a case by case basis.
